Thas a very good measure and repeatability :D
I will be waiting on the data :)
I know that the servo and microswitch can be a lot more troublesome to set up but I believe that measuring the upmost surface of the glass will help making even more accurate measurements :)

Hello Halford,

I would like to add an auto leveling system to my hellobeeprusa too. Do you have a little wireing diagramm. And if you like to share, the stl file for the modified air duct?
This would be great.
Best wishes

Hi Benji, sorry for the long reply.
Pls see these two pics showing the wiring connections.
Brown = +5v
Blue = -5v
Black = sense wire attached to the Z axis end stop switch, (yellow wire)
Make sure the connections are good.
Please test before fitting permanant.

Dear Halford,

unfortunately the sensor does not work.
Do you have the NPN/NO sensor?
I tested the sensor with an external power supply. I connected the brown wire to +12 V and the blue wire to Ground.
I meassured the voltage of the black wire. But the voltage was constant to something about 11 V. I changed the distance of the aluminium plate but nothing happens.
Do you use teh 100k and 150k resistiors? I think I do not need them, because the input voltage is between 10 to 30 volt.
Do you have an idea?

Thank you.

Hello Benji, sorry to hear you have problems with the sensor.
The first one i bought also did not work, it was permanantly on.
After buying another of the same make it was ok.
I did not need to fit resistors as you rightly say.
i think the only solution is to buy another switch.
I did get a refund from the supplier.
I definately reccomend testing BEFORE fitting as you have done.

Good luck.

Hello Halford,

I worked on the autoleveling again.If I enter the G28 and G29 over pronterface, everything is fine. If I print with the SD-Card the Extruder crashed always in the bed.
Could you send me your firmware from your printer to compare it with my firmware?
Or do you have any ideas?

Best wishes

Benji
