Actual Build Dimensions

Post by unibee » 25 Feb 2017, 16:35

I was just hoping people could include their actual build dimensions possible. Did I set something up improperly as my Z-max is no way near the advertised Z-max of 190 mm? The X is limited by the filament tension bolts using shorter bolts will hopefully allow single extrusion to reach 185 mm. However, my Y is limited by the positioning of the linear guide bearings without designing a new carriage 180 mm is the max on Y.

Advertised Volume:
X: 185
Y: 200
Z: 190

My Build Volumes
Single Extrusion with Extruder 0
X: 171
Y: 180
Z: 150

Dual Extrusion
X: 160
Y: 180
Z: 150

Note I am very happy with the operation of the machining just looking to maximize the build space.
