Re: Need help with Simplify3D settings
Hello LammaOlle, I just took a look at your setting and the only things I would change are both the temperature and retraction speed reducing both, the retraction to 1000 and the temperature to 195ºC if you are using Beeverycreative brand filament or even lower for others as the lower extrusion temp...

Re: Sort of kinda accidentally set my printer on fire.
Hello rgjeppesen, It appears one of your Z axis stepper driver's heatsink got dislodged and caused a short, make sure all the others are well seated before using it. I wouldn't recommend using a Sbase board, I have tried it and the result was nothing special, no significant print quality enhancement...

Re: Colorfabb PA-CF problems
Hello Dominofix, Have you made the adjustments mentioned on this document https://beeverycreative.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=784 more specifically the one on page 5 as it allows you to tighten the pressure on the filament much more than it is possible on the original build. It seems you are have ...

Re: Strange way of printing
Hello Jdiogo, adding to what Tgala said, you should also: - check you X and Y axis pulleys (the teethed parts attached to the motors that drive the belt) making sure they are correctly held on to the motor axis - make sure you belts have some tension, they should make a sound akin to a bass guitar s...

Re: Avoiding 3D parts from getting out of the bed while printing
Hello Nuno, I would recommend you avoid using USB when connected to a windows PC for big prints, as sometimes without any warning the printer will restart due to windows polling the USB ports. I have a usb card reader, the big kind and it is really easy to just take the sd card save the gcode and th...

Re: Avoiding 3D parts from getting out of the bed while printing
Hello Nuno, So you are saying that printing thorugh SD card the nozzle is too low and when using slicer it is too high. Have you tested this with the same Gcode file? there could be a error on the slicer gcode not making it home corretly. Also what value appears on the printer screen, the part where...

Re: Heat bed connecrions
Hello Jdiogo, Make sure you bed isn't simply too misaligned ( the back side being much higher than the front), or if your yellow piece (the one that holds the servomotor) is correctly tightened to the X carriage ,if the top screw is slightly loose this happens, also if necessary you can use one or t...

Re: Change DRV8825 to SilentStepStick TMC2208
Hi @ garaujo to solve Z axis problems with the original rods the best solutions I found are: -Lube the threaded rods very very well, I use lithium grease, beware it is messy and turns dark/geyish quite fast with consistent use -Make sure the brass nuts are completely still on the X gantry, if they s...

Re: Lack of extrusion ?
Hello Gustavo, first off, I can't see that well but it seems your first layer is too squeezed against the hotbed, resulting in grinding of filament and eventually the printer will no longer be able to extrude. Have you followed the recommended fixes? here: https://beeverycreative.com/forum/viewtopic...
