Re: Change DRV8825 to SilentStepStick TMC2208

Dear DomingosRodrigues, I raised the voltage to 1.2 Volts and everything works great. My litte bee is absolutly quiet. Additionaly the time which Simplify3D estimates is now correct. Before there was always a big difference. I recommended this update for everyone. I created a longer fan support, bec...

Re: Change DRV8825 to SilentStepStick TMC2208

Hey guys, the easter bunny brought me some TMC 2208 stepper driver. I installed all correctly and adjusted the voltage of every driver to 0.85 V. Is this correct or higher with 1.2 Volts? In the controll settings I saw, that there are now only 80 steps per mm. Is this correct or should it be around ...

Re: Change DRV8825 to SilentStepStick TMC2208

Hey guys I have some questions: 1. Where do you bought the TMC2208 Stepper driver? I can buy some cheap china parts or some really expensive parts. 2. Is there any soldering necessary other than soldering the header pins? 3. If I install 5 TMC2208, I only have to uncomment like this: // If your hell...

Printed parts of the autocalibration add-on

Hey Guys After more than 5 year printing with my hbp on of the X-axis support cracked (I had the old one, with the nut inside). Now I made a modification and the hbp should work again. But during the crash, the autoleveling calibration had a little damage. I could fix it, but in case, it it possible...

Re: Auto Leveling

Hello Halford, I worked on the autoleveling again. If I enter the G28 and G29 over pronterface, everything is fine. If I print with the SD-Card the Extruder crashed always in the bed. Could you send me your firmware from your printer to compare it with my firmware? Or do you have any ideas? Best wish...

Re: Auto Leveling

Dear Halford, unfortunately the sensor does not work. Do you have the NPN/NO sensor? I tested the sensor with an external power supply. I connected the brown wire to +12 V and the blue wire to Ground. I meassured the voltage of the black wire. But the voltage was constant to something about 11 V. I ...

Re: petg versus pla

Dear Joao

I had the same problems at the beginning with pla. I added an filament oiler with some vegetable oil and everything was great.

This is my oiling system.

Maybe it helps you.
