Nozzle extruding 'wavey' material

When trying to print an object my Prusa is extruding the material in wavey or wiggly lines. I have attached an image.

What is the reason behind this and how can I solve it?

Hi @SCush, welcome to the forum!
It looks like you have either too much temperature, too much flow or the nozzle is too far from the bed.
Check this guide to learn how to tackle this problem: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... eshooting/

Let me know how it goes!

I have a UM2 at work, and dont have that kind of problem,
when it starts it comes to the front extrudes an amount of filament out of the nozzle before starting.

I could be that that firmware reverses too much after a print, any way to check that ?

Hello BarryInnob,

The problem seen on the photo posted before is caused by incorrect adjustment of the Z axis endstop.

If you Ultimaker 2 doesn't do it, you did a good job calibration it :) As for the prime line it can also easily be applied on the helloBEEprusa if it is required.

Best regards
