Re: Is Bed leveling not working for anyone else?

Well, I experimented a bit furtehr and got much better (although far from perfect) results with auto bed leveling after releasing a bit of belt tension. On other forums I have read that too tight belts can really mess with ABL. I would not consider this fixed but at least I get pretty consistant res...

Re: Is Bed leveling not working for anyone else?

Hello,

I deactivated mesh bed leveling, leveled the bed by hand and got better results. Not awesome nor consistant results but at least I am able to print now. If anyone has got more ideas I would really appreciate it.

Hello @jaume.figueres

GCode M721 can be used via a Serial connection to disable the self test wizard.
Do this at your own risk!

Re: Is Bed leveling not working for anyone else?

Hello Domingos, To quote a famous song "I tried so hard and got so far but in the end it doesn't even matter". Well, jokes aside, I basically tried everything you wrote. I even loosened all frame screws (which were reachable) and improved the squareness of the frame because I realized that when lift...

Temperature jumps

Hello, I am still only printing with one nozzle, wich worked (besides of the bed leveling issue which I am still working on) pretty flawlessly. But now I have another issue. The temperature (of the working hotend) sometimes jumps randomly. I am using the given Cura profile with the correct Cura vers...

Re: Is Bed leveling not working for anyone else?

Hello, I have the problem that mo matter what I try the nozzle is too close on the right side and too far on the left. I tried noumerous ajustments of the Y axis rods, the X axis rods were square from the beginning and both Z sides are on the same height. The Bed itself is leveled as best as I can (...

Re: Vibrating lead screws

Hello Domingos,

I think I can try this. The reason why I hesitated was that I have seen that the hotend has to be screwed out on other machines with which I was not comfortable. Since I don't know if you can relay the information I will also write another E-Mail.

Thank you for your help :)

Re: Vibrating lead screws

Hello Domingos, I actually have another question. I am the guy you helped on monday via TeamViewer with the damaged temperature sensor. I now got the option of changing the hotend with the sensor in it myself or sending the whole preassembled thing to you to repair. I originally decided for the latt...

Re: Vibrating lead screws

Hello Domingos,

Thank you for your fast reply :)
Greasing the hell out of these lead screws worked like a charm. Compared to that the previous ammount I put on there was laughable. I guess I should be less greedy with grease.

Vibrating lead screws

Hello, I have the problem that the lead screws sometimes start vibrating when the Z Axis is near the bottom and turning. They have a bit of play in the trapezoidal nuts which I guess is intended. The lead screws and the linear rails are as parallel and as straight up as possible. Both sides of the Z...
