Hey guys 🙂

This blogpost will take you through the 3 simple steps it takes to 3D print with flexible filament, TPU-FLEX, on your BEETHEFIRST+ or BEEINSCHOOL 3D printer.

Want to know more about what advantages TPU-FLEX has in 3D printing?

TPU-FLEX - 3D printing filament

TPU-FLEX is:

Flexible

Great Layer Adhesion

Greater resistence to abrasion than PLA

Good level of detail

Shape memory material

No warping

Excited yet? Let’s begin then! 😀

First of all, you need to purchase a spool of TPU-FLEX here. TPU-FLEX is available in Blanc Gris, Natural and Traffic Red.

Now, you need to install our External Spool Holder. Follow all the steps indicated here, it’s easy!

Next up, you need to make sure the nozzle on your 3D printer is a 0,6mm hole nozzle because this filament requires this type of nozzle.

If the nozzle on your 3D printer is the same one as when you purchased the machine, you will need to purchase a 0,6mm hole nozzle here. Learn how to change nozzle on your BEETHEFIRST+ or BEEINSCHOOL 3D printer step by step here.

Now you can start 3D printing with TPU-FLEX filament and since you are using BEEVERYCREATIVE’s filament, there is a specific profile on BEESOFT, developed by us to ensure you have the best results possible!

We suggest you start with a iPhone 5/5s or a BMX grip.

Happy 3D printing! 🙂
