We are new into this and have assembled a hello bee prusa printer, set everything up as per the instructions, double checked everything, leveled the bed multiple times and got it perfect, downloaded the recommended firmware and using pronterface, changed a few bits in the extruder to tweak either way. have changed the voltage on stepper motors to between .8 and .9. have tried printing in various temperatures and speeds and flow rates. are using pla 1.75 geeetech. have put tape and glue on the bed as recommended. got loads of failed prints then finally got a near perfect small cube print. decided to try something a little more advanced and have come up against problem after problem with extruding. it starts to print then stops feeding filament through the extruder. have checked nozel for blocks and there is none. can take filament out and put back in and get it working fine then happens within the 1st few layers of print. have tried changing temp, flow rate and print speed up and down and cannot get around this problem. have also tried loosening off and tightening up the filament clamp. no joy. put in extra washer behind heat bed. have looked at all solutions provided online and have not been able to solve this issue.
any ideas??? before we throw it in the skip.....
