How to move auto leveling sensor manually? G-code?

Post by johan.eklund » 16 Aug 2019, 10:33

I have some problems with the auto leveling sensor (the servo).
So in order to check what is wrong, I need to manually move the servo. Witch G-codes can be used for moving it?

It the servo is broken, what type of servo is used if I need a spare part?

Hello Johan,

To move the servo motor you can use the commands,
Probing position:

Code: Select all

M280 P0 S10
Standby position:

Code: Select all

M280 P0 S85
If the servo motor is broken you should contact customer_service@beeverycreative.com to acquire a new auto calibration module as we do not recommend replacing only the servo motor, it would require you to calibrate the correct probing angle, possibly causing damage to the printer's head if incorrectly executed.

If you want to replace it your self, at your own risk, the servo motor is a micro servo with metal gear.

Best regards
