Files for Cura 2.1.1 (testing)

Post by jorge » 20 Jun 2016, 18:35

Hi everyone.

After some users have shared information about supporting helloBEEprusa on the new version of Cura, we prepared the files for Cura 2.1.1 but this are for testing only. We would love to get your feedback.

Hi there,

are you looking into BeeTheFirst printers too to be supported?

How can I attach a file here, so I can show my json file?

Thanks,

Michael

Hi,

I tried to use this in the MAC version and I have some issues:

I've added the .json file to home/.cura/machines/ and the stl to meshes folder.

When I open cura all appears correctly but i cannot either Save the file (nothing is saved) or Print to USB (opens the print dialog but the temperature doesn't rise and pressing print button doesn't do anything). Did someone had this issue before?

One feedback would be to have the Temperature field as welll activated when we open Cura.

Fixed the issue by changing the name of the STL with the printer picture.

Regards,
Joao

Does anyone know how to edit the code to get the following;

1st Z move = 20.25mm ; move the bed down clear

Can we write out the date & time as before?

Can we write out the the amount of filament used as before?

Regards
Halford :?

I configured the json file. However my problem is neither the extruder heats nor the table heats :(

I'm trying CURA 2 now.
These instructions does not works in macbook, then I created instructions for macbook.
I have some doubts about some values in helloBEEprusa.def.json, if you have a better version, please share.

EDIT: I added this configurations to Cura Github: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/pull/ ... -281022065, if you have a better version of 'helloBEEprusa.def.json', please update

The next beta from Cura, 2.7 I think, will have the official profile from Beeverycreative included :) so this thread will become obsolete.
Although Cura is good I would recommend Slic3r prusa edition as it gets better part finish and very similar print times.
