Hardware Issue - Q6 falls off

Post by Gurash » 20 Dec 2018, 20:03

Hi,
today I printed for 6-7h at 60°C.
When I went to the next print, my heat bed failes to heat up.
After looking to the Board, I found the Q6 Mosfet falls off the normal position.

After resoldering it, I heat the bed to 100°C. Unfortunately the Q6 falls off again and destroys the R22.

So I have to get a new R22 and hope the board has no further problems.

Has someone here such problems with the heat on the Q6 mosfet?

Soldering in a new resistor, but the bed get heating up without controll. I think the board is junk.....

Can anybody tell me if i can replace the Mainboard with an stock version of an mks v1.4 board?
reassembling the stepper Boards and the BEE electronic parts to an new MKSV1.4 will be my only way to get the printer running for my christmas projects i want to print the next days....

Hi @Gurash,
I'm sorry to hear you had issues :/
If the MOSFET has reached that temperature, it is definitely fried.

Yes, the MKS GEN V1.4 is definitely compatible with your B2X300.
You should contact the customer support to see what they can do about it.

Cheers!
