I use a PTFE based lubricant applied to the rails, screws & filament in small amounts once per week.

Can you post photo/image of your print.
The shape itself maybe a problem and you may need to ADD extra support pads to help minmise warping.

Hello, first thing I would try is a smaller first layer thickness of 0.2-0.25mm. This should help in "squishing" the material onto the bed. Initial layers should ALWAYS be printed slower to help adhesion i use @10-20mm/s. If you don't get a good first layer your can bet your on your way to a failed ...

5mm rods will get you down to 0.020mm as in the current specs for HBP.
If you increase the pitch you loose the finer tolerance.

What do you consider to be the main advantages?
Have you worked out the positioning accuracy of the existing rod compared to the cost of exchanging?
