Re: Nozzle extruding 'wavey' material

Hi @SCush, welcome to the forum!
It looks like you have either too much temperature, too much flow or the nozzle is too far from the bed.
Check this guide to learn how to tackle this problem: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... eshooting/

Let me know how it goes!

Re: How to get the models look better

You can...
But you need to make sure the nozzles are perfectly parallel to the heated bed. That might not be easy.
And...
You need to rewire some cables on the printer and that can make more problems than what they solve.

Re: How to get the models look better

JDiogo , what printing profile are you using? What filament brand? Cura has had a printing profile for helloBEEprusa for quite a while now. That should be a good starting point. You can also check this topic for more guidance on the Cura printing profile: https://beeverycreative.com/forum/viewtopic...

Re: How to get the models look better

Hi JDiogo ! First of all, to remove the stringing between parts you can try to increase the retraction distance and maybe work with travel speeds, fans and temperature. But I think you should work on the print quality first :) As a starting point you can check this post: https://www.beeverycreative....

Re: Strange way of printing

I can't remember if it has been said here before but you can use this as a general rule of thumb: If you pluck the belt and it sounds like a double bass you're good. If it sounds like a guitar you have gone too far, if it sounds like a drum or doesn't make any sound at all it needs more tension. Che...

Re: Sort of kinda accidentally set my printer on fire.

Make sure the power supply is rated for 24V / 360W :) The power supply fans should only turn on when there is a significant load (when heating an extruder or the bed, for example). As for the ramaining components: - The cooling fans on the control board are standard 40x40x10mm 24VDC fans (you'll fin...

Re: Filament Profile creation

Hi Dave! The current BEESOFT 4 + Cura Engine aproach is based on over-rides to a default configuration file but I don't know which one :( It might depend on the characteristics of the specific filament you are using but the TPU profile might work with PVA but that profile needs a 0.6mm nozzle but th...
