Re: How to get the models look better

Hi JDiogo ! First of all, to remove the stringing between parts you can try to increase the retraction distance and maybe work with travel speeds, fans and temperature. But I think you should work on the print quality first :) As a starting point you can check this post: https://www.beeverycreative....

Re: Strange way of printing

I can't remember if it has been said here before but you can use this as a general rule of thumb: If you pluck the belt and it sounds like a double bass you're good. If it sounds like a guitar you have gone too far, if it sounds like a drum or doesn't make any sound at all it needs more tension. Che...

Re: Sort of kinda accidentally set my printer on fire.

Make sure the power supply is rated for 24V / 360W :) The power supply fans should only turn on when there is a significant load (when heating an extruder or the bed, for example). As for the ramaining components: - The cooling fans on the control board are standard 40x40x10mm 24VDC fans (you'll fin...

Re: Filament Profile creation

Hi Dave! The current BEESOFT 4 + Cura Engine aproach is based on over-rides to a default configuration file but I don't know which one :( It might depend on the characteristics of the specific filament you are using but the TPU profile might work with PVA but that profile needs a 0.6mm nozzle but th...

Re: Sort of kinda accidentally set my printer on fire.

Hi! Wow, I hope no one got hurt! Can you send some pictures so we can assess the damage? As you said, most parts are can be bought off-the-shelf at eBay or AliExpress or at BEEVERYCREATIVE's online store (https://shop.beeverycreative.com/). Have you tried to contact costumer support? They should be ...

Re: Strange way of printing

Hi JDiogo ! I would check 2 things: 1) Is your glass securely held in place? When in doubt tape it down to the heated bed using blue painters tape. I had issues where the the print would warp and when the nozzle hit the print, the glass would slip. 2) Check the height you are starting your first lay...

Re: B2X300 Lead screw

Hi RickRick ! I believe the pitch is 2.0mm but I don't think it means a loss in printing resolution/quality. The lead screws in the helloBEEprusa were cut to size from longer screws and that means that some times the lead screws were a little bent, that shouldn't happen with the new machined, wider ...

Re: Heat bed connections

Hi hoangnganvy1993 , welcome to the forum! The thick black and red wires (power wires) should be soldered to the heated bed on one side and the other side connects to the control board. The white wire pair should have a white connector on one side and a glass bead on the other side - the glass bead ...

Re: HELP - My helloBeePrusa died

No problem, I'm glad to have "helped" :D
The GitHub repository is a bit confusing, some old versions don't work on the current machines and that it is a bit misleading.
I'll try to contact someone at the BEEVERYCREATIVE team to report the situation.

Cheers!

Re: HELP - My helloBeePrusa died

Hi sinosoidal , That is a really odd state your machine is on, I suspect it is some kind of misconfiguration, probably it's just firmware :) First things first: where did you get the firmware for your printer? Can you tell us the exact version (commit id) and the version of the Arduino Software you ...
